HOW TO CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE

   1.  Go to https://www.congress.gov

   2.  Enter your home address under Find Your Members and click on the search icon.

   3.  Click Contact under the Senator or Representative you wish to call and/or email.

   4.  Call the number provided and/or follow instructions for inputting your information and sending an email/message.

After you have called and emailed your Senators and Representatives with your concerns, contact at least 5 other persons and ask them to do the same, and also ask them to contact at least 5 more persons to do the same.

Be sure to contact not only those who are politically like-minded, but also those whose political beliefs may differ significantly from yours.  Emphasizing that you are part of a non-partisan group that does not support either a conservative or liberal agenda, may be helpful.  Our encouragement and petition is for the sole focus being on preserving and defending Democracy in America through upholding and preserving the Rule of Law as established under the Constitution.

   Below are suggested topics you may wish to address in your  messages:

    *   The need for Congress to exercise its Constitutional authority to restrain abuses of power by the current Administration and, if necessary, to use the power of impeachment to remove any executive officers, including the President, who continue to openly defy laws passed by Congress and openly defy the courts;

   *   The importance of Congressional leaders to speak out against the current Administration's failure to comply with valid court orders and its unwarranted and unjustified attacks on federal judges.

   *  The obligation of Congress to declare invalid any declaration of a non-existent national emergency (at least six so far by the current Administration) to justify the unconstitutional use of executive power in direct violation of laws passed by Congress.

   *  The need to oppose the nomination and appointment of any executive officers or federal judges who have demonstrated by  words or deeds that personal loyalty to President Trump and/or a particular political agenda transcends their commitment to support the Constitution and uphold the rule of law.
